Login & Account
How do I sign in to EM-OS?
Please sign in using your GitHub or Google account following the Start Guide.
I can't log in.
For first-time users, an invitation from an administrator is required. If you haven't received an invitation email, please contact your organization's administrator.
What are the recommended browsers?
We recommend the latest versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, and Firefox.
Organization & Team Management
What is "Team Topologies"?
It is a framework for building effective software development organizations. For more details, please see Org & Team Management.
Can I change the team type?
Yes. An administrator (Org Admin) or a team leader (Lead) can change it at any time from the team settings screen.
Is integration with GitHub mandatory?
It is not mandatory for basic features, but integration with the GitHub App is required for advanced features such as automatic collection of Four Keys metrics.
Technical Management
Who can create an ADR (Architecture Decision Record)?
Team leaders and members can create ADRs. However, the final approval (changing the status to "Accepted") must be performed by a leader or administrator.
Four Keys metrics are not displayed.
To collect Four Keys, the following settings are required:
- Administrator installation of the GitHub App and granting permissions to the Organization.
- Linking the target repository in the team settings. Please check Admin Features for details.
Personal & Growth
Can I customize the skill ladder?
Yes. Currently, you can change the definition of skill sets according to job types (Frontend, Backend, etc.) by directly editing the system configuration files. A UI editing feature from the administration screen is planned for a future update.
Who can view 1on1 notes?
Contents written as "Shared Notes" on the 1on1 detail screen can be viewed by participants (mentors and mentees) and higher-level administrators. "Personal Notes" are visible only to the person who wrote them.
Salary or unit price information is only visible to some users.
This is due to the financial_visibility setting in Admin Features. By default, it is restricted to administrators only.
