Start Guide

Welcome to EM-OS! This guide will help Engineering Managers and Leaders take their first steps with the platform.

1. First Login

Access the URL provided by your administrator and sign in using one of the following methods:

• Sign in with GitHub
• Sign in with Google

NOTE

For the first-time use, you may need an "Invitation Link" issued by your administrator.

2. Onboarding Process

After logging in, complete the following three steps to unlock all features of EM-OS:

1. Create Profile: Set up your photo, role, and brief bio.
2. Join a Team: Select the team you belong to from the organization map.
3. Initial Skill Check: Select your current proficiency levels based on the skill ladder.

3. What to Do First

Once onboarding is complete, try checking out the following information:

• Review Team ADRs: Check important past decisions in the Technical Management section.
• Check 1on1 Schedules: Review or add agendas for your next 1on1 in the Personal & Growth section.
• Track Project Progress: View current milestones in the Gantt chart within the Product Management section.
